LP - Just wanted to let you know that though I never had the privelege of meeting you - I find the love and appreciation that your family (regardles of blood/name/race - it is clear that all here ARE your family) have for you, and that you so obviously had for them - an inspiration that has just made my day. Imagine what an amazing world we would be living in if everyone here, in fact - everyone in the world - took the time to appreciate each other the way we honour your memory ... peace. tg

36 years ago, today, you started smiling. You kept smiling for the next 32 years. I can just see your smile, wherever you are. The one raised eye-brow, and the martini with extra olives. Wherever you are, Rest in Peace, my beautiful son!

Two years and 363 days. The pain is no less. We, the living, still ache from your loss. The rain has done wonders to the flowers at your gravesite. On Saturday, 9/11, watch for the twin beams of light. They are bringing all our love to the heavens.

Hey Larry. I have not been here in awhile, but you often pop into my head. I pass Martells walking home every night and always recall seeing you and Adam there late that summer of 2001. I had not seen you in a long time, and we never spoke, yet we were both so happy to see each other. I never realized our birthdays were 20 days apart. We all miss you.

Hey Laurence. I can't believe how many things remind me of you. This week two people asked me if I ever went to Scores. I can't believe you took me there with your friends! I will never forget that. One of my fondest memories is rollerblading in the park with you and doin' the cones. Thanks for telling me what you wanted me to wear on those days! Thanks for the great memories. I always had so much fun with you. Just wanted you to know that you are on my mind. Love and kisses, Jill

When LP entered Syracuse Law School in 1990 we were introduced by a mutual friend (Harris Silver who tragically died in January 2003). I quickly became friendly with LP, hanging at Faegan's Pub, and going to SU basketball games. LP had a great personality, very open and honest, and had an infectious laugh. While we lost touch after law school, LP was one of those people who I felt I would definitely circle back around with because we had so much in common. Since I won't have that chance, I keep Larry's memory and zest for life in my mind. He's unforgettable.

LP, This past weekend Florence flew down from New York to pay us a visit. Juliet Lauren had such a great time with her. You were constantly on our mind, considering that you were the connection between myself and Florence. You would also be very proud; after only 11 months Juliet Lauren made it to the big screen on the 6:00 and 11:00 editions of CBS news. Although it was only a brief 3 second spot, we look at this as a stepping stone for future aspirations. To highlight the weekend, Buddy and Iris came over for a great BBQ dinner. Thanks to your POPS it was a great success. By the way, now I know where you got your beautiful legs from. We really had great conversations and lots of laughs. LP, your spirit was with us and will always be with us on each and everyday. Thanks for a great time this weekend. Missing you and always thinking of you. Tammie

This is going to sound odd, but I was driving to work on 110 this morning and the car in front of me had a memorial plate with Larry's name and 9/11. For some reason, I wanted to see what I could find on him. I am touched at what I've found and my heart, prayers, and thoughts go out to this family. Incredible people for what seemed like an incredible guy. My best to you, Lana

LP, I am sorry that we had not seen each other or stayed in touch since our days as pledge-brothers at U of M, but it always felt good knowing that you were in the world ... you had such a unique blend of energy, spirit and sincerity ... you made everyone around you feel good. The way you lived your life is an example for all of us ... the entries on this page are like a handbook on how to live life fully and completely, how to make the days count and how to touch and enhance the lives of those around you. My father, Bob, is up there with you - you should try to find him - you guys would really get along well, and enjoy each others' stories. Jordan
